     AN ACT Relating to the budget stabilization account; making an appropriation; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.      The sum of two hundred sixty million dollars is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1993, from the budget stabilization account to the state treasurer for immediate transfer to the general fund pursuant to RCW 43.88.535.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.      This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect immediately.
