     AN ACT Relating to budgets submitted by the governor; and adding a new section to chapter 43.88 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.88 RCW to read as follows:

     Biennial budgets submitted by the governor pursuant to RCW 43.88.060 shall link any adjustment for inflation for purchased goods and services with an equal increase in the level of department of social and health services vendor rates and grant standards.
