HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 91-4702, by Representatives Bowman and Brumsickle.

 

     WHEREAS, As modern society continues to grow more complex with each passing year, the necessity for innovative and competent managers becomes even more apparent; and

     WHEREAS, No nation can function effectively without the most advanced and efficient waste management systems; and

     WHEREAS, Harold E. LeMay has been a leader in the field of waste management for many years.  His leadership in the waste management industry, as well as his involvement in community and civic organizations, is well known, and

     WHEREAS, Through his achievements, Harold E. LeMay has laid the groundwork for today's waste management industry; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Lemay's company operates solid waste collection, medical waste collection, recycling programs, and landfill operations in Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pierce, and Thurston counties; and

     WHEREAS, The National Solid Wastes Management Association has announced that Harold E. LeMay has been inducted into the 1991 Waste Age Hall of Fame.  This award is given to those who have helped build the industry, as well as for their determination, skill, and ingenuity;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of Harold E. LeMay; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be immediately transmitted by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives to Mr. Harold E. LeMay.
