     AN ACT Relating to funding drivers' education; and amending 1991 1st ex.s. c ... s 510 (uncodified).

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

     Sec. 1.  1991 1st ex.s. c ... s 510 (uncodified) (H‑3194/91) is amended to read as follows:

Public Safety and Education Account

     Appropriation............................................. $........ 5,321,000

General Fund Appropriation..................................... $........ 2,500,000

             TOTAL APPROPRIATION............................... $........ 7,821,000

 

     The appropriations in this section ((is)) are subject to the following conditions and limitations:

     (1) Not more than $596,000 may be expended for regional traffic safety education coordinators.

     (2) ((A maximum of $2,300,000 may be expended in the 1991-92 fiscal year and $2,425,000 in the 1992-93 fiscal year to provide tuition assistance for traffic safety education for students from low-income families.)) The entire appropriation is provided for expenditure during the 1991‑92 school year.
