SENATE RESOLUTION

     WHEREAS, The legislature is concerned with department of natural resources and department of wildlife grazing leases; and

 

     WHEREAS, There has not been a comprehensive grazing lands study in the last twenty years; and

 

     WHEREAS, It is necessary to maintain quality grazing lands for livestock and wildlife; and

 

     WHEREAS, The funds from grazing leases benefit state trusts and the state general fund;

 

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Senate environment and natural resources committee review the state's grazing policies and report its recommendations to the 1993 session of the legislature.
