HB 1907 - DIGEST

      Authorizes the governing body of a local government to individually, or jointly with other entities, self-insure.

      Creates an advisory board.

      Directs the state risk manager to adopt rules governing the operation of self-insurance programs.

      Regulates the investment of any assets of the programs.

      Exempts the self-insurance programs from certain taxes and fees.

      Repeals provisions of chapter 48.62 RCW.
