      Revises employment leave provisions.

      Prohibits employers from discharging or discriminating against any employee because he or she has filed a complaint or assisted in a proceeding under RCW 49.12.270 through 49.12.295.

      Repeals RCW 49.78.060 and 49.78.210.

      Provides that an employee is entitled to sixteen hours of family educational leave during any twenty-four month period.

      Requires written notice to the employer thirty days prior to the absence.
