SB 5286 - DIGEST

      Directs the department of corrections to establish a boot camp to provide an intensive basic training and rehabilitative program for criminal offenders.

      Requires an outcome evaluation study to be published by December 31, 1994, which shall compare the results of the boot camp program with other sentencing programs.

      Makes an appropriation of an unspecified amount to carry out the purpose of the act.
