SB 5950 - DIGEST

      Directs the superintendent of public instruction to develop a salary schedule to increase salaries for instructional staff, certificated administrative staff, and classified staff for the 1991-92 and 1992-93 school years.

      Increases the retail sales tax by one-tenth percent of the selling price.

      Makes an appropriation of one hundred nineteen million dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
