SB 6433 - DIGEST

      Authorizes the department of community development to contract with school districts for the development, administration, and implementation in the county of community-based gang risk prevention and intervention pilot programs.

      Designates the elements to be included in the pilot programs.

      Authorizes the employment security department to provide a job counselor to assist at cultural awareness retreats.

      Authorizes the department of labor and industries to provide information and assistance to apply for apprenticeship programs.

      Makes appropriations to carry out the purposes of the act.
