On page 3, beginning on line 7, after "exceed" strike all material through "110%" on line 12 and insert "one hundred ten percent of the average monthly wage in the state as computed under RCW 51.08.018."

EFFECT: The maximum industrial insurance total disability and death benefit of 100 percent of the state average monthly wage (SAMW) is increased to 110 percent of SAMW on July 1, 1993, (instead of a two step increase to 110 percent by July 1, 1994). The Task Force on Workers' Compensation will report its benefit recommendations to the legislature by December 1, 1993, instead of December 1, 1994.
