SSB 5837 - H COMM AMD to LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMM AMD (H2358.1)

     On page 6, after line 11, insert

     "(4) The state finance committee shall make a report to the appropriate legislative committes on payment agreements authorized in this act.  The report shall include the governmental entity entering into a payment agreement, the amount of the agreement, the expected savings resulting from the agreement, the transactions cost, and any other information the state finance committee determines relevant.  The report shall be submitted on November 30, 1993 and December 30, 1994."

EFFECT:  Requires the State Finance Committee to make a report to the legislature on payment agreements authorized in the act.  The report will identify the governmental entity entering into a "Swap" agreement, the amount and the expected savings of the agreement.  The report is due on November 30, 1993 and December 30, 1994.
