     On page 18, beginning on line 1, strike everything through line 5 and insert the following:

     "(a) Two former senators, one former member from each of the two largest caucuses in the senate, who shall be appointed by the president of the senate;

     (b) Two former representatives, one former member from each of the two largest caucuses in the house of representatives, who shall be appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives;"

EFFECT:  Deletes the requirement that the four legislative members of the board be current legislators, and requires that the four legislative members of the board be former legislators.
