AN ACT Relating to private sector enhancement of gamefish; and adding a new section to chapter 77.12 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 77.12 RCW to read as follows:
The department shall contract, as defined in RCW 77.18.010(2), with aquatic farmers, as defined in RCW 15.85.020(2), for the purchase of gamefish for release into public waters to meet a portion of the gamefish production scheduled by the department in any fiscal year.
