Transferring money into the transportation fund.

    AN ACT Relating to transportation funding; creating a new section; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  On April 1, 1994, the state treasurer shall transfer one hundred million dollars from the general fund of the state to the transportation fund under RCW 82.44.180.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect April 1, 1994.
