Concerning the sale of liquor to intoxicated persons.



    AN ACT Relating to alcoholic beverages; amending RCW 66.44.200; and prescribing penalties.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

    Sec. 1.  RCW 66.44.200 and 1933 ex.s. c 62 s 36 are each amended to read as follows:

    (1) No person shall sell any liquor to any person apparently under the influence of liquor.

    (2) If a person is found to be in violation of subsection (1) of this section, then the person purchasing the intoxicating liquor is guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars.
