Repealing the public health financing and governance portion of the health services act of 1993.



    AN ACT Relating to local health department governance; amending RCW 43.72.915; repealing RCW 70.05.035; and repealing 1993 c 492 ss 234, 235, 236, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 252, 253, 254, 255, 256 (uncodified), 257 (uncodified), and 258 (uncodified).

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

    NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  The following acts or parts of acts are each repealed:

    (1) 1993 c 492 s 234;

    (2) 1993 c 492 s 235;

    (3) 1993 c 492 s 236;

    (4) RCW 70.05.035 and 1993 c 492 s 237;

    (5) 1993 c 492 s 238;

    (6) 1993 c 492 s 239;

    (7) 1993 c 492 s 240;

    (8) 1993 c 492 s 241;

    (9) 1993 c 492 s 242;

    (10) 1993 c 492 s 243;

    (11) 1993 c 492 s 244;

    (12) 1993 c 492 s 245;

    (13) 1993 c 492 s 246;

    (14) 1993 c 492 s 247;

    (15) 1993 c 492 s 248;

    (16) 1993 c 492 s 249;

    (17) 1993 c 492 s 250;

    (18) 1993 c 492 s 251;

    (19) 1993 c 492 s 252;

    Sec. 2.  RCW 43.72.915 and 1993 sp.s. c 25 s 603 are each amended to read as follows:

    This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect July 1, 1993, except for:

    (((1) Sections 234 through 257 of this act, which shall take effect July 1, 1995; and

    (2))) Sections 301 through 303 of this act, which shall take effect January 1, 1994.
