AN ACT Relating to the sale of incidentally caught sturgeon; and adding a new section to chapter 75.12 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 75.12 RCW to read as follows:
It is unlawful to sell any sturgeon taken incidentally to a lawful commercial target fishery for another species, unless a lawful commercial fishery for sturgeon exists in the same catch management area.
