Modifying provisions for AFDC payments to children living in unsuitable homes.

          AN ACT Relating to aid to families with dependent children payment to children living in unsuitable homes; and amending RCW 74.12.330.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  RCW 74.12.330 and 1963 c 228 s 29 are each amended to read as follows:

          Notwithstanding the ((provisions of this chapter)) condition of the child's home, a child otherwise eligible for aid to families with dependent children shall not be denied such assistance ((where a relative as specified in the social security act is unavailable or refuses to accept custody and the juvenile court fails to enter an order removing the child from the custody of the parent, relative or guardian then having custody)) when the child is living with a parent or relative as specified in the social security act.
