SB 5194 - DIGEST

     Creates a state department of financial institutions, securities, and corporate affairs.

     Transfers all powers, duties, and functions of the department of general administration under Titles 30, 31, 32, 33, and 43 RCW to the new department.

     Transfers all powers, duties, and functions of the secretary of state under Titles 18, 19, 23, 23B, 24, 25, 30, 31, 32, and 33 RCW to the new department.

     Transfers all powers, duties, and functions of the department of licensing under Title 21 RCW to the new department.

     Takes effect September 1, 1993.
