SB 5758 - DIGEST

     Creates a contractor's registration board.

     Establishes procedures for registration of a contractor.

     Revises surety bond requirements.

     Establishes civil penalties for violations of the act.

     Authorizes the board to review complaints against a contractor and specifies procedures for resolution of the complaints.

     Appoints an advisory board to be known as the contractors education board.

     Creates the labor and industries certification account.

     Repeals RCW 18.27.030.
