SB 5776 - DIGEST

     Transfers all powers, duties, and functions of the department of revenue pertaining to chapters 82.24 and 82.26 RCW to the liquor control board.

     Directs the board to make a special effort to enforce laws that protect children and young adults from the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol consumption.

     Authorizes the board to suspend or revoke a retailer's license or to impose a civil penalty for violations of the act.

     Creates the youth tobacco use enforcement account.

     Repeals RCW 82.24.260.
