SB 5908 - DIGEST

     Incorporates requirements of the federal Patient Self-Determination Act into state law.

     Requires health care providers to have written policies that identify and explain the rights of adults to make decisions concerning their medical care, including the right to accept or refuse treatment.

     Requires the providers to train their staff concerning patient's rights.
