SB 6354 - DIGEST

     Transfers the powers, duties, and functions of the office of the superintendent of public instruction to the department of education, except for budgeting and apportionment of funds activities which are transferred to the office of financial management.

     Repeals RCW 28A.300.010, 28A.300.020, and 28A.300.030.

     Requires approval of a proposed Constitutional amendment by the voters at the next general election.

     Makes an appropriation of one hundred thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
