     On page 1 of the amendment, strike all material on lines 5 and 6

EFFECT:  Removes a portion of the Appropriations Committee amendment and restores the bill's original language regarding legislative intent.  The original bill stated that it is the intent of the legislature that financial savings "shall" be redirected within the DD program; the committee amendment changed "shall" to "should".  This amendment to the committee amendment restores the original language and states that savings "shall" be redirected.
