Title:  An act relating to penetration bullets.

 

Brief Description:  Outlawing possession of cartridges designed to penetrate life‑saving devices.

Background:  There have been recent announcements regarding bullets that are designed to penetrate life-saving devices and cause major internal injuries. 

 

Summary of Bill:  It is a class C felony to possess a bullet that is designed or manufactured to penetrate a life-saving device.  This prohibition does not apply to law enforcement or the military.

 

Appropriation:  None.

 

Fiscal Note:  Not requested.

 

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
