Title:  An act relating to fire protection districts.

Background:  The present statute relating to forest protection assessments for fire protection is not clear when referring to assessments on lands that are wholly unimproved and subject to forest protection assessments, but not to fire protection district levies.

 

Summary of Bill:  Lands that are wholly unimproved and assessed as forest lands are subject to the forest protection assessment, but not to fire protection district levies.

 

Appropriation:  None.

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
