SB 6603 - DIGEST

 

     Provides that an offender convicted of a felony may be required to register with the county sheriff for the county of the offender's residence if the court finds by a preponderance of the evidence that:  (1) The victim of the offense was a child twelve years of age or younger;

     (2) the victim and the offender are not related; and

     (3) the circumstances of the offense indicate that the offender may be a potential threat to other children.
