SB 6755 - DIGEST

     Establishes requirements for electronic home monitoring.

     Provides that a person who drives a vehicle within this state after his or her license has been permanently revoked pursuant to RCW 46.61.5055 is guilty of a gross misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars and by imprisonment for one year.  A second or subsequent violation of this section is a class C felony and shall be punished by a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars and by imprisonment for seven years.

     Makes an appropriation of two hundred fifty thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
