HB 2257 - DIGEST

Declares that it is in the public interest in the most densely populated areas to direct growth to urban areas and accommodate housing for all economic segments of the population.  To achieve these goals, the legislature finds that communities in the most densely populated areas must plan for the density necessary to accommodate the population growth projected, implement measures to provide the necessary infrastructure, and encourage an adequate supply of housing, particularly on lands in proximity to frequent transit service.
