HB 2488 - DIGEST

     Provides that any agreement between the organization and the department must be reviewed and approved by the correctional industries board of directors.  The review shall include an analysis of the potential impact of the proposed agreement on the Washington state business community and labor market, and shall include a public hearing.

     Provides that the board may not approve any agreement that will have an adverse economic impact on a Washington business.
