SB 6824 - DIGEST

     Eliminates accounts that have been repealed, are not in use, or are unneeded and consolidates accounts that are similar in nature.

     Creates the multimodal fund in the state treasury.

     Directs a budget working group to be formed for the purpose of conducting an examination of all of the transportation-related funds and accounts for possible elimination or consolidation.  The working group will conduct an examination of the various funds and accounts during the interim and report back to the senate transportation committee during the 2001 legislative session.
