Background:  Over the years, various statutes have been amended without regard to the effect of those amendments in other statutes.  These amendments have caused some technical and confusing situations.

 

Summary of Bill:  Technical amendments are made to correct outdated references and double amendments all under Titles 29, 34, 42, 46, 47, and 82.

 

Appropriation:  None.

 

Fiscal Note:  Not requested.

 

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.

 

Testimony For:  Outdated references were corrected.  There was no change in the law.  It makes the RCW's easier to use.
