Background:  Appropriations for the operations of major transportation agencies and some smaller transportation and general government agencies are made on the basis of a fiscal biennium that begins on July 1 of each odd-numbered year.

 

Summary of Substitute Bill:  The supplemental appropriation for the 1999-01 biennium provides a net $17.9 million increase to expenditures.
