Background:  Supporters of this Senate concurrent resolution believe there are numerous distinct differences between western and eastern Washington and western and eastern Oregon.  It is also believed that eastern Washington and eastern Oregon share dramatic similarities as do western Washington and western Oregon.

 

Summary of Bill:  The Senate of the state of Washington, with the House of Representatives concurring, resolve to establish a select committee on state boundaries to study the feasibility of boundary line changes and the how to accomplish such changes.  The committee consists of ten members from Washington and Oregon.
