HB 1320 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

     Directs the department to develop a temporary management program utilizing community providers licensed under chapter 70.128 RCW.

     Declares that this program is established to mitigate dislocation of residents of adult family homes while the department and the licensee, who is subject to departmental sanctions that would result in license revocation and/or a stop placement order, proceed with due process and dispute resolution proceedings as authorized by law.

     Provides that in implementing this act the department shall consult with consumers, advocates, the adult family home advisory committee established under chapter 18.48 RCW, and organizations representing adult family homes.

     Repeals RCW 70.128.061 and 70.128.062.
