HB 1326 - DIGEST

     Revises the definition of veteran.

     Directs the higher education coordinating board and the joint committee on pension policy to each conduct a study as to the eligibility of veterans for benefits provided, respectively, by higher education and the state retirement system if the definition of veteran is modified in the manner provided in this act and report their findings to the legislature by December 1, 2001.
