On page 2, after line 16, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. A new section is added to chapter 9.91 RCW to read as follows:

Every person who sells or gives, or permits to be sold or given to any person under the age of seventeen years any violent video or computer games is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.

It shall be no defense to a prosecution for a violation of this section that the person acted, or was believed by the defendant to act, as agent or representative of another.

For the purposes of this section, "person" means an individual, partnership, association, or corporation."

Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
