   On page 2, line 27, after "contract" insert "from the assessments imposed under section 3 of this act"

   On page 3, after line 25, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. A new section is added to chapter 51.44 RCW to read as follows:

   For the purposes of funding the audits required by section 1(2)(d) of this act, the director shall impose and collect assessments each fiscal year upon all employers who reported under RCW 51.16.060 in the immediately preceding fiscal year fewer than one hundred thousand hours of work covered under this title or, if premiums are not based on hours, an equivalent as determined by the director. The time and manner of imposing and collecting the assessments required under this section shall be established in rules adopted by the director in accordance with chapter 34.05 RCW."

   Correct the title.

EFFECT: Requires the industrial insurance audits performed by the State Auditor to be funded from assessments made on employers who report for state fund premium purposes fewer than 100,000 hours of work annually, or an equivalent (approximately 50 FTEs).
