On page 7, after line 18 of the amendment, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 14 On a quarterly basis and until levels of
polybrominated diphenyl ethers are no longer detected in Washington's
environment, the department and the department of health shall publish
in newspapers in Washington state notice to the public of the following
information:
(1) Locations of testing and observed levels of polybrominated
diphenyl ethers in the environment;
(2) Exposure levels of those polybrominated diphenyl ethers
detected that constitute a threat to human health as determined by the
environmental protection agency; and
(3) Actions the public can take to limit exposure to polybrominated
diphenyl ethers."
Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
On page 7, line 19 of the amendment, after "through" strike "13" and insert "14"
