On page 3, line 6 of the amendment, after "(a)(i)" insert "A
provider, group, or entity shall have no more than forty percent of its
total medical practice as a retainer health care practice and shall
further provide at least fifteen percent of its nonretainer health care
practice as charity care for low-income children and adults.
(ii)"
Reletter the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
EFFECT: Limits retainer medicine practices to no more than 40% of a provider, group, or entity's total practice and requires that an additional 15% of the nonretainer health care practice provide charity care.
