On page 20, after line 8, insert the following:
"(7) The governor may not directly or indirectly accept a
contribution from a party to an agreement or consent decree that has
been negotiated within the prior four years or is currently under
negotiation, if the party is authorized to negotiate with the governor
pursuant to this act."
On page 33, after line 25, insert the following:
"(7) The governor may not directly or indirectly accept a
contribution from a party to an agreement or consent decree that has
been negotiated within the prior four years or is currently under
negotiation, if the party is authorized to negotiate with the governor
pursuant to this act."
EFFECT: Prohibits the governor from accepting contributions from a party to an agreement or consent decree in current negotiations or that has been recently negotiated, if the party is authorized to negotiate with the governor under the terms of the bill.
