On page 2, after line 25, insert the following:
"(c) The members of the wildlife rehabilitation advisory committee
must select a chair of the committee from among its membership. The
chair of the wildlife rehabilitation advisory committee may not be an
employee of the department."
On page 3, line 12, after "The" strike "director or the director's designee" and insert "chair of the wildlife rehabilitation advisory committee"
On page 3, line 14, after "by the" strike "director" and insert "chair"
EFFECT: Requires the chair of the wildlife rehabilitation advisory committee to be selected by the committee's membership, specifies that the chair cannot be an employee of the department of fish and wildlife, and replaces the director of the department of fish and wildlife with the chair of the committee in terms of who has the responsibility of convening all meetings not otherwise requested by a majority of committee members.
