   On page 232, line 11, increase the general fund--state appropriation for FY 09 by $180,000.

   On page 232, line 17, correct the total.

   On page 250, after line 34, insert:

   "(49)$180,000 of the general fund-state appropriation for fiscal year 2009 is provided solely to the Union Gap school district to provide full day kindergarten programs in schools that rank among 20 percent of qualifying elementary schools in the state with the highest free and reduced price lunch eligibility rates."

EFFECT: Provides funding to the Union Gap school district to fund full day kindergarten programs in schools that rank among the 20% of qualifying elementary schools in the state.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Increases General Fund-State by $180,000.
