   On page 2, beginning on line 18 of the striking amendment, after "(e)" strike all material through "associations." on line 21 and insert "Three individuals with significant experience with Washington K-12 finance issues, including the use and application of the current basic education funding formulas, appointed by the governor. Each of the two largest caucuses of the house of representatives and the senate may submit names to the governor for consideration."

EFFECT: Rather than a school superintendent, a school finance officer, and an ESD superintendent, the remaining three members of the Task Force are individuals with significant experience with K-12 finance issues appointed by the Governor. Legislative caucuses of the House and Senate may submit names for the Governor's consideration.
