On page 4, line 8, after "lights." insert "However, school districts that have not received funding to implement recycling of end-of-life mercury-added general purpose lights by July 1, 2010, are exempt from this requirement until they receive such funding. If funding is received, school districts are then only required to recycle end-of-life mercury-added general purpose lights to the extent they are able to with the funding provided."
EFFECT: Exempts school districts from the recycling requirement until they receive funding to implement the recycling program and, if funding is received, then requires schools to only recycle to the extent they are able to with the funding provided.
