Background:

Upon meeting some requirements as to the number of employees making the request, state employees can request payroll deductions for the following:

Deductions for labor or employee organization dues may be made if a payroll deduction
is not provided under a collective bargaining agreement.

Summary of Bill:

Deductions for labor, employee, or retiree organization dues may be made if a payroll deduction
is not provided under a collective bargaining agreement.

Fiscal Note: Not requested.

Effective Date: The bill takes effect 90 days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
