On page 2, line 36 of the amendment, after "(10)" insert ""Hearing
health care professional" means an audiologist or hearing instrument
fitter/dispenser licensed under this chapter or a physician
specializing in diseases of the ear licensed under chapter 18.71 RCW.

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
On page 8, line 30 of the amendment, after "licensing" strike "or certification"
On page 8, beginning on line 31 of the amendment, after "pathologists," strike "speech-language pathology assistants, and audiologists" and insert "and audiologists, the certification of speech-language pathology assistants,"
EFFECT: Creates a definition of "hearing health care professional." Clarifies that certification requirements apply only to speech-language pathology assistants.
