    On page 2, after line 4 of the amendment, insert the following:

    "(4) The requirements of this section shall not apply to any municipality operating a public transportation system under RCW 35.58.2721."

EFFECT:  The requirement that certain transit agency boards include additional voting and nonvoting members representing labor does not apply to city-operated transit systems (currently, Everett, Yakima, and Pullman systems).
