On page 11, after line 13 of the amendment, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 13 A new section is added to chapter 47.60
RCW to read as follows:
The department shall purchase the M.V. Steilacoom II from Pierce
county for the vessel's mutually agreed upon replacement value per the
M.V. Steilacoom II vessel charter agreement. The department shall
deduct from the purchase price any mutually agreed upon depreciation of
the M.V. Steilacoom II while operated solely by Pierce county."
Renumber the remaining section consecutively.
EFFECT: The department of transportation shall purchase the M.V. Steilacoom II from Pierce County, and the department shall deduct from the purchase price any mutually agreed upon depreciation of the M.V. Steilacoom II while operated solely by Pierce County.
